Success meet of Happy Days
was held in simple and stylish manner at Durgam Cheruvu, Hyderabad on
Thursday. Producers M S Raju, M L Kumar Chowdhary, Chatrapati Prasad,
Dil Raju, Tammareddy Bharadwaja, directors Sukumar, Sri Vaasu and Vamsi
Paidipalli, music director Devi Sri Prasad attended as the main guests.
The film’s entire cast and crew – director Sekhar Kammula, music
director Mickey J Meyer, executive producer Anish, Varun Sandesh,
Nikhil, Sonia, Monali Chowdhary, cinematographer Vijay C Kumar and
others attended-Telugu Cinemass.
Sekhar Kammula:
“It is a technician’s movie. Everyone from cameraman Vijay C Kumar,
editor Marthand Venkatesh, music director Mickey to digital
intermediate team, all worked hard for this. Mickey J Meyer will go
places after this. Youngsters are loving his music. Speaking about our
actors they have surpassed all my expectations. They have done so well.
I have enjoyed the proceedings and making of the film. Their
performances is spotless and on the level of Oscar worthy,” he exulted.
Dil Raju:
“When I first saw the movie, I thought it would be a hit. After the
release, we have realized that it is going to another Prema Desamu.
Like Arya, Toli Prema, it gave me immense satisfaction as the producer
and distributor. Only few films fulfill creative urge in us.”
Devi Sri Prasad:
“I was anxious to watch this movie ever since the trailers came out.
Sekhar has made a great film. Regarding the music, I am bowled over by
the song – Aree..Aree. Even the recording by Mickey is fantastic.”
Sukumar:
“Sekhar’s film is like a poem. It is very tender and touching. I
will try to make films in his style. It inspired us to make good films
with this young talent. They are so good.”
MS Raju:
“When I was in Madras, Hum Aapke Hai Kaun haunted me for years. Same
thing happened with this movie. It brought me my college day memories
back. Every actor in the film is so natural. I will definitely give
chances to these actors and music director Mickey Meyer.”
Varun Sandesh:
“I came from USA to act in Sekhar’s film. I just wanted to give a
try. After working with him, I have got immense confidence. I loss of
words now but I will always remain indebt to Sekhar sir.”
